Recognizing the problems caused by this fragmented, immature industry, IRS formed a permanent, integrated team consisting of the best companies in each of the specialty areas needed.
This approach has worked well in other, more mature industries. It offers a unified solution to customers. They know what and whom they’re getting to do the project. They’re not relying on one large general contractor to subcontract out all the specialties to unknown firms.
The integrated team has all the expertise needed to understand the project at the 50,000 foot level and master its details as well. The team is broad enough and sufficiently skilled to be highly flexible and responsive to the particular challenges and needs of each customer and each project. Working together on all projects results in effective, efficient teamwork, smooth coordination, and easy management.
The IRS management team has forty years of internationally renowned management experience, extensive relationships with public and private organizations worldwide, and eight years as one of California’s leading experts in solar. It is a member of the California Intergovernmental Taskforce on Solar Consumer Protection, having advised the California Public Utilities Commission for years on this topic, done extensive research into and consulting for the solar industry, and having educated and protected California solar owners against dishonest business practices for years.

We share our state-of-the-art technology and expertise, using local companies and labor as much as possible (unlike companies that import their own labor), so our customers become independently capable in the renewable-energy field. We never want to take advantage of them or deal unfairly with them. We value integrity and honor far above dollars.
